Stella likes riding ponies
Here are just a few pics from the birthday party Stella attended this afternoon. I think my daughter is going to ask for a pony soon.

Octopus Family
One night I, lacking any good ideas, helped Stella make an octopus out of string. We drew a circle with eyes on a piece of paper and taped the string for tentacles. Genius, I know.
I guess now she thinks this is the default arts & crafts project when daddy is home and mommy is at work, so tonight we made an octopus family using strips of colored paper and tape. We used every marker in the pack, and Stella drew everything except the circle for the heads. Pretty cute, especially the eyelashes that separate the girls octopuses from the boy octopuses.
And for those who are cool enough to care, the new Jack White album was our project's background music. Yes, I'm trying to raise a hip kid.
